A summer festival to remember on Liverpool’s most iconic waterfront – June 30th – 10th Sept 2017
Thrill rides & attractions, Sound City bar, artisan market, Liverpool Art Fair & gallery, great food & much more!
Pier Head Village is the brand new family focused festival coming to Liverpool’s Waterfront from 30 June – 10 September 2017. The three-month summer event will provide a new tourist attraction in the heart of the city and a place to make new memories with family and friends.
The first ever Sound City Bar (a partnership with Liverpool Sound City who are also the event management partners for the festival) brings a new mix of live and acoustic music to the South Side of the Village. On the north side it’s all about the best laid back beats of the Balearic Sunset Sessions legends at the Village Beach Club and Urban Beach throughout the summer.
Indulge in a spot of retail therapy and browse the Village High Street with The Artisan Village and Farmer’s Market offering over 30 independent market stalls with local produce and souvenirs open seven days a week. Liverpool Art Fair is bringing a unique gallery space on the waterfront showcasing local art from around the City Region.
Adrenaline will be high on the north side of the Village with three of the world’s tallest and most exciting thrill rides (one for each “Grace”) which will be sure to delight all of the family and create a special visual treat. The Village Bounce is designed to bring physical challenges, ensuring that the younger family members are gaining health benefits while having lots of fun in the sun.
Bringing a touch of carnival to the Pier Head Village, Brazilica is bringing its end of carnival fiesta on the 15th July for a day of celebration. August Bank Holiday will see The Beatle Weekender in partnership with The Cavern Club as part of the 60th anniversary of this legendary venue. We will celebrate the songs of the fab four on the Sound City main stage, with Sgt Peppers on Sunday and a tribute to Brian Epstein coming 50 years after his death. The closing weekend on September features an Artisan Festival takeover to showcase Liverpool’s finest makers and creatives along with a closing party to remember.
