    Front Stairs

The association is aware of the appalling condition of the front stairs, leading from the basement car park to the foyer. This has been raised with the Managing Agent and we are awaiting a suitable cleaning regime to be put in place.

CBRE have confirmed the Tower Building car park monitoring system has been implemented, notices have been issued to all residents explaining how the system works and what fines are in place should anyone park a car in an unauthorised parking space. Signs have also been installed throughout the car park. If you require any further clarification please contact, Denis at the front desk or Henry Gysleman CBRE.

A quick update -The Association met on 23rd February 2010 with the council, the Parking Services Pay and Display procurement Department and the Home Office. Although the situation has improved since Reliance House started using the 4 bays in Tower Gardens to park their vans and cars, we are still suffering problems due to vehicles blocking the garage entrance. We are pleased therefore to report that the meeting was very productive, and we hope we will see a more amiable relationship between Tower Building’s car park users and the staff at Reliance House.

    Action being taken
    · A 24hr contact number for Reliance House for the concierge to ring should they need to move a vehicle.
    · Reliance House will remind visiting service providers not to block the garage doorway.
    · The council is looking at making Tower Gardens a tow away zone for cars that illegally park.
    · Additionally the council will have traffic wardens police this area more frequently.

Hi Rob, I did make enquiries about a possible empty car space, if you remember I thought one of the residents had just sold their car, but unfortunately they are looking at replacing it, so not looking to rent out their parking space. I will keep my ear to the ground though.

The Tower’s windows on the Strand, Water Street and Tower Gardens have finally been cleaned although there were a few hickups with the access platform breaking down.

However the 6th floor windows on Water Street have not been cleaned and we will be enquiring as to why these have been missed again. icon_rolleyes.gif

Please let us know if you have any comments on the recent window cleaning, either on the forum or by email to Paulabunner(at)aol[dot]com
